The Australian Trucking Association is relaunching its SafeT360 campaign for Truck Week 2026, giving schools, organisations and the wider community access to practical road safety resources about sharing the road safely with trucks.
Originally delivered between 2019 and 2022, SafeT360 was created to help educate young drivers and other road users about the everyday realities of heavy vehicle operation, including truck blind spots, stopping distances, overtaking and the space trucks need to operate safely.
The campaign uses videos, virtual reality resources and practical education tools to give participants a better understanding of what drivers see from inside the cab of a truck, and the split-second decisions required to keep all road users safe.
For Truck Week, SafeT360 resources are available online, with schools and organisations encouraged to arrange a visit through Steering the Future. Selected videos can also be viewed without VR equipment from the SafeT360 website.
